Advancing community inclusion

For Women’s History Month we held a panel discussion on the power of women in tech with guest speakers from Amazon Web Services and Social Progress Imperative. Panelists shared insights on the challenges and triumphs of women in the tech industry, shedding light on their experiences and offering strategies for empowerment and advancement in this rapidly evolving field.

To celebrate the rich cultural diversity of the Hispanic and Latino Heritage Month, we hosted a cultural event at our GigaHub in Dallas, Texas. Team members had the opportunity to participate in a Frida Kahlo inspired floral crown workshop by Soleil Vida Studio, decorate and paint Mexican sugar skulls, watch a performance by Ballet Folklorico DFW, and eat tacos at the Tacos bites and beats food truck.

In recognition of Black History Month, Charita Williams, one of the Co-chairs of the GigaB.I.T EIG, led a group of Tampa-based employees on a community service outing. Inspired by Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.’s quote "Life's most persistent and urgent question is: 'What are you doing for others?', team members had the opportunity to work in the food and clothing store, greeting clients and sorting through donations at Metropolitan Ministries in Tampa.

To celebrate the rich cultural diversity of the Asian American and Pacific Islander community, we hosted a cultural event at our GigaHub in Dallas, Texas. Team members had the opportunity to participate in a henna station, Chinese calligraphy station and eat at the sushi dojo food truck.

We don’t just talk about our commitment to veterans, we put tangible actions to show our commitment. This past Veterans Day, we organized a care packing event in partnership with Operation Gratitude, hosted an internal panel highlighting some of our veteran employees, made charitable donations to two veteran organizations and signed the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR). We also launched our very own Veteran Career page, furthering our commitment to our veteran community as we #BuildGigabitAmerica!

Community outreach

Our goal is to strengthen the communities where we work and live. We believe that no one should be left out of the digital society. To achieve this goal, we partner with key stakeholders across the business. Frontier's flagship ESG program, Broadband for Good (BB4G), drives our mission of 'Building GigaBit America' by leveraging our fiber technology to strengthen communities. Our Broadband for Good team collaborated with our Women's, Veterans, and Black Employee Impact Groups (EIGs) to donate cutting-edge fiber technology to organizations in key markets, including Malta House, Girl Scouts of Central Texas, and the Learning Alliance Corporation. Our EIGs donated over 120 hours of time and donated resources such as laptops, drones, microscopes, software and technological equipment impacting 180 community members, and engaging 65 volunteers.

GIGAGRACE EIG partners with Malta House to offer digital support to mothers.

GIGABIT EIG teams up with the Girl Scouts to promote STEM literacy for girls.

GIGAVET EIG collaborates with LAC to provide safety training for veteran technicians.
